You had the sofa against the wall.

Of course, the chair doesn’t want to cooperate and just go in the corner where it should fit.

Introducing the Space Plan
You just want your place to feel right. You want to be able to have people come over and be able to sit in a comfy spot, watch TV and even hold a conversation during the commercials.
The sales person assured you this furniture set would “most likely” fit. Now, you got another delivery of furniture you have to send back to the store, pay them a re-stocking fee, again and still not have the right layout.
Here’s what you get:

The process is simple.
It all starts with a plan. One that will end with a space that will make your space the de-facto hangout.
Seriously, you can’t mess this up. We’re going to create this together.
1. Draw, measure and photograph your room and furniture then send it to me. (There’s a how-to guide to help you)
2. Fill out the Design Questionnaire and we brainstorm online a bit to figure out what your needs and dreams are.
3. Sit back and relax! I’ll get right to laying out the perfect furniture arrangement.
4. Go shopping or move your furniture around to its perfect spot. You’ll be all set!
But what about…
I don’t know what my design style is. That’s okay, we’ll figure it out. My design questionnaire is designed to carefully extract your design style – even if you’re positive you don’t have one.
Are you willing to work with pieces I already have? Of course. Why throw out perfectly good stuff? If you adore it, we’ll work with it. (Unless, of course, it’s hideous. There’s a sash for that.)
Are you sure you can make all the furniture fit? Maybe, and maybe not. I am going to work with what you tell me you need and what we can fit in your space without making it feel like a Hoarder lives there. If you need seating for 85 and your space only can accommodate 6, I’ll let you know.
How much does it cost? The Space Plan is $150. By way of comparison, let’s look at one alternative. You come home with the entire second floor of Crate & Barrel and it doesn’t fit in your home. You eat 7 pizzas with everything on them. You live with the consequences of both choices for years. Take the high road! Get the Space Plan. Then you can decide whether the pizza is still appropriate.
