Room Review

Room ReviewYour room is lacking direction, or maybe it just needs more than a passing glance from your spouse on what your room might need.

You need more than a passing glance to get your creative juices flowing and someone with a few ideas on where you could take your room.

You’ve come to the right place.

Introducing the Room Review

Start with one room. Maybe it’s the living room or the bedroom. Either way, it’s the room we need to take care of. One room can change everything. Believe me.

Here’s what your get:

  • An honest look at your room
  • Get a design assessment of your room to know what’s working or what’s not
  • Get a professional’s opinion of your room’s design elements that need to be addressed for a great result
  • You can start designing the right way to get the most from your money and time

Room Review

Benefits:

  • Know your room is getting the personal review it deserves
  • Jump start your room design with a few ideas
  • Find out if you’re headed down the right path or where you need to be going

Take a tour of some of the homes that have gone before you.

The process is simple.

It all starts with a plan. One where you become world-renowned for your design skills.

If you feel creative but just need some confirmation (or a gentle nudge to the direction you should be heading), then bring what you have, and I’ll help guide you.

  1. Photograph your room and the rooms nearby (so I can get an idea of the what you already have going on). (There’s a how-to guide to help you)
  2. Fill out the Design Questionnaire and we brainstorm online a bit to figure out what you want your home to look like.
  3. Sit back and relax! I’ll create an assessment of how the elements of your room are working for you and a few new ideas.
  4. Get inspired! Find out some new ideas for your room and get on track!

But what about…

I don’t know what my design style is. That’s okay, we’ll figure it out. My design questionnaire is designed to carefully extract your design style – even if you’re positive you don’t have one.

What if I need more suggestions? Don’t fret. This is just a starting point. For many clients this is all they need to get back on track with the design in their room. If you need more specific ideas on what exactly to purchase for your room, consider purchasing a Mood Board (a visual guide to show you all the items together) or Shopping List (a list with suggestions for your room in a spreadsheet type format). Maybe you need

Can you work with a reasonable budget? Unlike conventional interior design, you are in control of the buying process. So, yes, we’ll work together to create a plan with your resources in mind. You don’t need to buy every piece in one day. Space it out over time. You decide what happens, and when.

You suggested I add a chandelier… well, what size and what brand? With the room review, I give you general guidelines, suggestions and ideas. If you need more specifics, can I suggest you purchase a Mood Board or Shopping List. Those services are intended to give you the specifics items and everything you will need for your room while the Room Review service is intended to give you general ideas to help you move forward.

You didn’t say what I should do to the corner of my room, so what should I do? This Room Review service is not meant to be a complete design nor tell you everything you should or could do in your room. It is just a quick review of what’s going on in your room. If you would like a complete room makeover, click here.

How much does it cost? The Room Review service is $80. By way of comparison, let’s look at one alternative. You come home with a piece of art from your favorite decor store but it just doesn’t look right in your room and you have three days to return it. You drink 8 Starbucks Frappuccinos, eat 3 Chocolate Chunk Cookies and miss the date you had to return the art by to get a refund. You live with the consequences of both choices for years. Take the high road! Get the Room Review service. Then you can decide whether Chocolate Chunk Cookies are still appropriate.

Is this for you? I don’t know. Why not request a 20-minute conversation with me. A meet ‘n greet. Then we can talk about the next steps.

Not ready to take it to the next level? Why don’t you check out my Design Goodie Bag. It’s free and has a surprise goodie every few days, for the next 30 days! wheee!

The Design List. You want on it. You want to hear about what I'm up to. Including Willow House stuff because who loves to miss a good sale or special? Uh, no one.

I send out some of my recent design work, sometimes I send out design tips, some times I send out notes about my passionate love affair with Willow House.

It's all fun and I'm sure you are going to love being a part of it! Put your email in right below this special message. xoxo
