Mood Board

Mood Board DesignYou think your sofa might work.

Brown goes with everything, right?

You’re pretty sure that pair of lamps you saw on Etsy will work, but you’d hate to buy it to only have to return because it ends up being all sorts of wrong in your room.

Introducing the Mood Board

You’re looking to for something you’re proud to show off. You want your guests to be impressed.

But we can definitely turn up the volume on impressions. Not in a stuffy way, but in a way that says, “We are delightful and colorful and creative and with it around here. See what we’ve done here in the nook? Do you grasp the magnitude of how wonderfully as ease we are here in our home, which feels like an artsy bed and breakfast?”

Here’s what you get:

  • A mood board that shows you how everything works together
  • Clickable links that take you directly to the online store to purchase the item
  • A mood board that can work with what you already have and enhance it

Mood Board

Benefits:

  • Keep what you got and we will work with it whenever we can
  • Know all your stuff will go together in your home
  • Know exactly what pieces you need to buy
  • Confidently see how everything works together

Take a tour of some of the homes that have gone before you.

The process is simple.

It all starts with a plan. One that will have you whistling while you work.

Seriously, you can’t mess this up. We’re going to create this together.

  1. Fill out the Design Questionnaire and we brainstorm online a bit to figure out what your needs and dreams are.
  2. Sit back and relax! I’ll get right to finding the perfect pieces.
  3. Go shopping! You’ll receive a mood board of decorating goodness.

But what about…

I don’t know what my design style is. That’s okay, we’ll figure it out. My design questionnaire is designed to carefully extract your design style – even if you’re positive you don’t have one.

Are you willing to work with pieces I already have? Of course. Why throw out perfectly good stuff? If you adore it, we’ll work with it. (Unless, of course, it’s hideous. There’s a sash for that.)

Are you sure you can make all the furniture fit? Maybe, and maybe not. If you are looking for a complete room, you should pair this photo design service with a space plan and a shopping list.

How close are the designs on my screen to real life? Since computers are tuned to different frequencies, the design plan is a close approximation. I use real swatches here in my office when designing.

How much does it cost? The Mood Board is $200. By way of comparison, let’s look at one alternative. You come home with a bunch of pieces that don’t work. You eat 9 candy bars and have to post an ad to Craigslist to sell all the stuff that doesn’t work. You worry about the creepers on Craigslist and that extra 5 pounds for years. Take the high road! Get the Mood Board. Then you can decide whether the candy bars are still appropriate.

Is this for you? I don’t know. Why not request a 20-minute conversation with me. A meet ‘n greet. Then we can talk about the next steps.

Not ready to take it to the next level? Why don’t you check out myDesign Goodie Bag. It’s free and has a surprise goodie every few days, for the next 30 days! wheee!

  • Don't let my stellar design skills fool you. I'm really quite down to earth. Ok, fine. I'm a big dork. But I sure am fun to work with.

The Design List. You want on it. You want to hear about what I'm up to. Including Willow House stuff because who loves to miss a good sale or special? Uh, no one.

I send out some of my recent design work, sometimes I send out design tips, some times I send out notes about my passionate love affair with Willow House.

It's all fun and I'm sure you are going to love being a part of it! Put your email in right below this special message. xoxo
