Complete Room Makeover

Family is coming to town, the boss is stopping over for dinner, or your best friend from high school is in town for the reunion…

You-Know-Who, the short-notice visitor who notices everything. You’re not about to give her the satisfaction.

Situation: You’ve matured considerably since her last visit.

Solution: Your house must reflect this evolved state of being.

No boring white walls for you! (Although, if you were into it, we could totally make that work as a concept.)

When you’ve got the room looking great, you feel free and easy. Which means not only do you get an insane amounts of compliments, but you’ll have to stop yourself from just wanting to invite people over all the time.

Eventually, people will begin concocting excuses to visit more often. You’ll be forced to recommend a hotel, which could strain the relationship, but what can you do? Everyone wants to visit now. You’re booked months in advance.

Introducing the Complete Room Design

Take a tour of some of the homes that have gone before you.

The process is simple.

It all starts with a plan. One that will make you famous for your home tours.

Seriously, you can’t mess this up. We’re going to create this together.

I, the professional interior designer, and you, the proud home tour giver.

If you feel creative but don’t think you have the right design sense, then bring what you have, and I’ll turn it into something you’ll love.

  1. Draw, measure, photograph your room and furniture and send it to me. (There’s a how-to guide to help you)
  2. Fill out the Design Questionnaire and we brainstorm online a bit to figure out what you want your home to look like.
  3. Sit back and relax! I’ll get right to designing.
  4. Go shopping!  You’ll receive a complete package of decorating goodness.

But what about…

I don’t know what my design style is. That’s okay, we’ll figure it out. My design questionnaire is designed to carefully extract your design style – even if you’re positive you don’t have one.

Are you willing to work with pieces I already have? Of course. Why throw out perfectly good stuff? If you adore it, we’ll work with it. (Unless, of course, it’s hideous. There’s a sash for that.)

Can you work with a reasonable budget? Unlike conventional interior design, you are in control of the buying process. So, yes, we’ll work together to create a plan with your resources in mind. You don’t need to buy every piece in one day. Space it out over time. You decide what happens, and when.

How can I see the actual paint and fabric swatches? I send you swatches, dispatched swiftly to your front door.

How close are the designs on my screen to real life? Since computers are tuned to different frequencies, the design plan is a close approximation. I use real swatches here in my office when designing, and can send some of them to you as well.

How much does it cost? The Complete Room Design is $895. By way of comparison, let’s look at one alternative. You come home with a sofa, chairs, and tables that looked great in the store but just feel off in your home. You eat 4 pints of ice cream. You live with the consequences of both choices for years. Take the high road! Get the complete room design. Then you can decide whether ice cream is still appropriate. (Pssst… if you are local in So Cal and just want me come to your home, and check out the place before we design, I will add $125 to the fee… making your total $1020 because you will end up wanting me to measure your space, take pictures and check out everything in your home, which I am happy to do, but for the additional fee. You can also buy additional photo designs if you would like to see more than one side of the room at the special add-on fee of $195 for each additional photo design.)

Is this for you? I don’t know. Why not request a 20-minute conversation with me. A meet ‘n greet. Then we can talk about the next steps.

Not ready to take it to the next level? Why don’t you check out my Design Goodie Bag. It’s free and has a surprise goodie every few days, for the next 30 days! wheee!
